Our Story

For 20 years Learning Express Toys has been your locally owned and operated toy store for the triangle area. We  love being a part of such a great community. It has been an honor to see families grow over the years and continue to come back. We’ve grown from 1 location to 5  and it’s all because of our great customers.

What makes us different? Our people. Yes, we have great customer service, complimentary personalization, and complimentary gift wrapping year round, but really it’s the people that make our store fun. From our team members to our customers, we encourage active learning through hands on play and in store experience. It’s not everyday you can go into a store and shoot a compound bow and arrows, throw light up footballs, play with magic sand, and ride around on scooters! Stop by and hang out with us. We’re here to make sure you have a great time and find an excellent gift for your next birthday party.

    • We have tons of spinners! Light up, printed, quad spinners, Batman spinners…. lots of choices. 😀

    • Hey Susan, we do carry different series of the Playmobil mini figures. They come in blind packaging so you don’t know exactly which one you’re getting, but they are separated by boys and girls. They are really cool and the kids love to collect them. We also have several sets with cool characters in them.

We don’t carry Schleich animals, but we do have a few toob sets from Safari.

Thanks so much for your comment!

    • Thanks for your comment! Unfortunately we don’t carry those items. We carry some wooden vehicles made by Hape that have been really popular. They’re made from bamboo. 🙂

    • Hi, unfortunately we do not carry magnetic words but we do have magnetic wooden alphabet and magnetic wooden numbers kits from Melissa & Doug. Also, we have a great magnetic chalk & dry erase board set. This set comes with 36 magnetic pieces (letters and numbers), colored chalk, an eraser, and a dry erase pen. Thanks for your comment and we hope this helps!
